April 2004 Timepieces/News Signing the Time These Audemars Piguet Equation of Time watches, signed by former President Bill Clinton and Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai, sold for $110,000 at Audemars Piguet’s recent “Time to Give” charity auction in Beverly Hills, CA. All told, the auction raised about $700,000 for the charity. In attendance was former boxing champion Muhammad Ali, who was honored with the Afghanistan World Foundation’s Freedom Award.
